My name is Andrew D. Pringle. By day, I’ve worked as a professional graphic designer for over fifteen years. By night, I’ve been an independent filmmaker, often drawing my own storyboards and handling art direction alongside the rest of the work. I’ve spent most of my adult life balancing those two worlds, putting in long hours and doing whatever was needed to get projects finished.
I draw and sketch constantly. It’s how I think through ideas and solve problems before they turn into finished work. Whether I’m designing, developing a film, or shaping a concept, I start visually and build from there.
I was born and raised in Long Beach, California. I spent the last seven years in Chicago, which taught me a lot about discipline, pace, and seeing work through regardless of conditions. I’ve recently returned to California and am ready to focus on the next chapter of my career with intention instead of split attention.
For years, I worked eighty-plus hours a week across multiple disciplines while earning a fraction of the value I was producing. That experience clarified something important for me. I don’t want to keep dividing my time across parallel paths. I’m looking for one solid role where I can commit fully and grow long-term.
My background has trained me to think beyond surface execution. I’m comfortable owning projects from early concept through final delivery, working within real constraints, and making clear decisions when things get messy. I value communication, follow-through, and work that actually serves a purpose.
At this stage in my career, I’m looking for an opportunity where experience matters and responsibility grows with trust. A place where I can contribute meaningfully, continue learning, and focus all of my energy in one direction.
